One Direction, Taylor Swift, Bieber up for Radio Disney Music Awards

One Direction and Taylor Swift are among the nominees for this year's Radio Disney Music Awards.

Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Olly Murs and The Wanted are also recognised in various categories for this year's event.

One Direction arriving for the 2013 Brit Awards

Selena Gomez, Cher Lloyd, Mindless Behaviour, Bridgit Mendler, Cody Simpson, Austin Mahone and Coco Jones will perform during the ceremony next month.

Voting for the awards begins today (March 15) and ends on April 14 via the Radio Disney website, Facebook, Twitter or text messaging.

The Radio Disney Music Awards 2013 will be staged on Saturday, April 27, at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

The first television spot for the ceremony will air during a new episode of the Disney Channel's animated series Gravity Falls at 9pm tonight (March 15).
