Cher Lloyd - Cher Lloyd, 18, Set To Marry Boyfriend Craig Monk

Cher Lloyd, pop singer and star of 2010's The X Factor is engaged to her hairdresser boyfriend, Craig Monk. 18 year-old Cher announced that she was dating the 21-year-old back in June 2011, in an interview with Radio One's Scott Mills. An article in the The Daily Mirror today (January 11, 2012) suggests that Lloyd has now been "telling her mates about the news and showing off her engagement ring."

Their source stated that Cher is "head over heels and has been sporting an engagement ring since last month." Despite usually being an avid Twitter user, she has been notably quiet over the past few days and has failed to respond to the rumours via her Twitter feed. The singer was a notable contestant on the 2010 series of X Factor. She was mentored by Cheryl Cole and despite not winning the contest, her performances - including Shakespeare's Sister's 'Stay' and Keri Hilson's 'Turn My Swag' on - were highly regarded by the judges.

After the show, she was immediately signed by Simon Cowell's company, Syco Music and her debut single 'Swagger Jagger' was a number one hit in the UK. In December 2011, she signed a deal L.A. Reid's Epic Records to release her album in the United States. Lloyd is due to embark on her debut headline tour in the UK, in March 2012.
