Cher Lloyd covers Usher's 'OMG' - video

Cher Lloyd has performed a cover of an Usher hit.

The singer performed an acoustic rendition of the American superstar's 2010 global smash 'OMG' as part of her promotional campaign in the US.

Lloyd performed the track for Billboard magazine and spoke of her professional relationship with songwriter Savan Kotecha.

"The thing with Savan is he's all about actually having fun when you're working," Lloyd explained.

"That's why it's so good to work with him because he'll take a song and he will inspire me to change it, make it different and original.

"He helped me along with the process of that competition [The X Factor UK] and then he went on to help me with many other things and he still helps me today."

Kotecha executive produced Lloyd's debut album Sticks + Stones and co-wrote tracks 'With Ur Love' and 'Over the Moon'.

Lloyd recently released the US music video for her single 'Want U Back', which will serve as her American debut.
