Cher Lloyd doesn't want to be a role model
The singer has revealed she doesn't want to influence anyone but just wants them to be themselves.
Cher Lloyd has claimed that she isnt a role model. Well, to be honest, I would agree.
The singer believes that everyone, young girls in particular, should just be comfortable with who they are an not try to be anyone else.
Lloyd, who has been reprimanded in the past for her outspoken views, said that she doesnt want to influence anyone but just wants to show them not to be afraid of being themselves.
She told TOTP magazine, ''I don't plan to be a role model. I'm not like, 'Yeah, I can change this, you should be like me.' But it's good to think that some girls do look up to me, and hopefully for the right reasons. The one thing I want to make clear to anyone who does look up to me is that they should be whoever they want to be and not worry what other people are doing. Just do what you want to do.''
The singer went on, in her usual style, to slam how everyone trying to get into the industry is so intent on looking like someone else, when they should just be happy being who they are.
