Cher Lloyd is kept in the dark
The Swagger Jagger star donned a raunchy black outfit, teaming a short dark top with a thigh-skimming black leather mini-skirt.
And she topped off the grungy get-up with black holed tights and a metallic belt, as well as a pair of boots.
But she didn't go for a full blackout, adding a dash of colour with a collection of bracelets on her wrist.
Cher is in California to shoot the video for her latest single, the follow up to her January hit, Want U Back.
And now she's spending more time in London and the US, her parents have taken advantage of the extra space around the house.
Within a week of moving out of the family pad in Malvern, Worcestershire, her mum and dad had transformed her old room into a fancy dining area.
Rising star ... Cher Lloyd
She explained: "I had to move to London for work reasons and like a week after I left my lovely bedroom had become a dining room. I was mortified.
"They must have been measuring up and shopping for dining room furniture before I'd even moved out."
But the 18-year-old star added: "It's still my home, even if my room doesn't exactly exist any more."
Cher, who first rose to fame on The X Factor, recently caused controversy by criticising her mentor on the show, Cheryl Cole.
Asked if she would ever perform with the Fight For This Love star, she replied: "Maybe if she sings live with me."
And when asked if she thought singing live would be a difficult for Cheryl, Cher explained: "Well it is nowadays, when you haven't got the nifty little button to press."
When the presenter asked if she meant that Cheryl was relying on autotune, Cher giggled sarcastically: "What? Oh no. Never, never ever."
Cheryl t! hen hit back on Twitter, posting: "Be Careful who you kick on your way up... They kick you twice as hard on your way back down. #unappreciationisugly".
But Cher later made a grovelling apology on ITV1's Daybreak.
She admitted that she "shouldn't have" slagged the Geordie star off and continued: "Sorry to her if she found it offensive."
