Forget The Beatles, Cher copies Beetlejuice for her US Invasion

The 18-year-old swaggered onstage at the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas, sporting a stripy waistcoat and blacked-out eyes - looking just like actor Michael Keaton's character in the Tim Burton-directed hit.

Cher even copied Keaton's pose, stretching her arms out behind the mic.

Swagger Jagger star Cher complemented her ghostly outfit with a pair of tight red shorts and a tiny top that showed off her tattoos and toned tum.

And she flew the flag for her fans back home - tucking a Union Jack hanky in the back of her hotpants before she skipped out onstage.

Cher, 18, is following fast in the footsteps of One Direction and The Wanted, who are currently wowing across the pond.

And she's set to be even bigger than the boybands once big shot record boss L.A. Reid is finished with her.

Cher is scheduled to hit the studio with the X Factor USA judge while she's in the States - and the man who's mentored Jennifer Lopez and Lil Wayne wants to make her his new protg.

Pixie Lott was out in London last night wearing the rest of the character's clothes - a pair of stripy black and white trousers.
