Cher Lloyd becomes celeb BFFs in Katy Perry and Carly Rae Jepsen, get her

Since finishing fourth in 2010's X Factor Cher Lloyd has gone on to gain huge success in the States.

And thanks to said success, Cher has found herself being invited to a whole host of swanky showbiz events.

Cher's latest event was in the form of The Billboard Woman of the Year awards where she seemed to have made quite the impression on some rather famous faces.

During the event Cher Lloyd bumped into Katy Perry and from what we can see, the two seemed to hit it off.

It looks like Cher has certainly moved on from former BFF Cheryl Cole.

The two were snapped having a good old chinwag at the after show party, happily posing for the cameras together.

Katy, who scooped the top award last night, looked stunning in a formfitting red dress while Cher dressed down in a pair red skinny trousers and a loose fitting top which she teamed up with a blazer.

Later on, Cher Lloyd took to Twitter to post a picture of herself with ANOTHER famous lady.

Now we wouldn't have put the 'Swagger Jagger' singer down as a fan of cheesy pop but it seems that we were wrong.

Clear! ly Cher Lloyd has been on the hunt for a photo with the singer since 'Call Me Maybe' was released earlier this year.
