Cher Lloyd More Popular Than Cheryl On Twitter

Cher Lloyd has proved she's more popular that former X Factor mentor Cheryl Cole well, on Twitter anyway.

The Swagger Jagger star, who was in Chezza's category during the 2010 series of the talent show, now has more followers than the Girls Aloud star on the mirco-blogging site.

While Cole may have over 3.5million Twitter followers, Cher currently has around 30,000 more fans following her updates, edging ahead of Cheryl in the past few days.

It is thought 19-year old's increased popularity on the site is down to her recent success in the US.

Yesterday (February 21), Lloyd confirmed that her single Want U Back had gone Double Platinum Stateside, while she also released a US video for With Ur Love.

Last year, Cher was forced to apologise to Chez on live TV after questioning the Call My Name singer's vocal abilities, putting strain on her friendship with the 29-year old.
