Cher now has 3.57 million fans on the site compared to Cole's 3.55 million, much of this is down to her success in the huge US market.

The pair infamously fell out after Cher revealed how her mentor treated her during the X Factor, and igniting the fued by saying to a radio host that she had more chance of winning the lottery than catching up with her.

The 19-year-old then attacked Cole's credibility as a singer by telling another radio host that she relied on a nifty little button to press, and sarcastically said What? Oh no. Never, never ever! when the host asked if she was referring to auto tune.

Not going unnoticed by the 'Fight For This Love' Singer Cole tweeted: Be Careful who you kick on your way up... They kick you twice as hard on your way back! down. #unappreciationisugly.

This forced Cher to make an apology on ITV's Daybreak where she admitted she shouldnt have slagged the star off and said: sorry to her if she found it offensive.

Cher is re-releasing her 2011 single 'With Ur Love' in the US, opting for more success over there as the single reached number four here in the UK.
