Cher Lloyd is planning a sexy US invasion, judging by her new Oath video

CHER Lloyd is fully embracing her inner sex kitten, judging by her latest video.

The X Factor popstrel has released the video for her new single, Oath - a new track which features on the American version of her album Sticks & Stones - and there's a whole lot of beach shots/prancing in her undies.

Cher Lloyd kicks off the clip in true Britney Spears-style, pouting as she sits in detention just chomping at the bit to go meet up with her best pal and take a drive to the beach etc.

The video, which has been made especially for US audiences, sees the pint-sized popstrel flaunting her tiny figure in a number of colour-pop outfits, including a candy pink high waisted bikini.

The track is so catchy we already know most of the words (we have had it on replay since it landed, but whatevs), as Cher changes into a neon pink glittering basque with tasselled leather shorts and a ton of kitsch jewellery.

Cher teams up with Becky Gomez on the track, who adds even more 'swag' to the track, as the pair play Just Dance 4 *subtle product drop alert* before hitting the beach.

As the track is for the star's US album it feels very Americanised (particularly the running on the beach bit at the end - Southend anyone?), but we're a bit miffed it wasn't on the UK drop.

We'll just have to continue to replay it on YouTube then.
