Cher's landed a new role on Disney channel dance show Make Your Mark, where she'll judge up and coming dancers alongside Dancing With The Stars dancer and Cheryl Cole's ex, Derek Hough.

The pair will narrow down the finalists for a dance-off competition, alongside choreographer Rosaro McCoy, and she show is in two parts - on US TV 19 and 21 October. Exciting. Especially as we can't remember Cher being any good at dancing when she was on The X Factor in the UK ...

9,000 people auditioned online (we're sure that Cher watched every one) and the six teams that go through will be narrowed down to three teams by the final.

Hopefully they all give Cher the evil stares she gave Simon, Cheryl Cole, Louis Walsh and Dannii Minogue when they were judging her. Only joking! It's the Disney Channel ! so we're sure everyone will be lovely.

Cher's been sneakily breaking the USA while we've all been obsessing over One Direction - her songwriter Savan Kotecha told Sugarscape that "she did something at a mall and they were expecting about 400 people and 2000 kids showed up screaming their heads off".
