Cher Lloyd strips down to a bikini in all American Oath video

Cher Lloyd has unveiled her video for new single 'Oath' and seems to have gone to the American side.

Sitting on a retro red Cadillac convertible, Cher shows off her tiny figure in a revealing pink bikini and high-waisted shorts combo.

She's come a long way from being the girl from Mulvern who customised her jeans at her first X Factor audition that's for sure.

The X Factor 2010 fourth place runner up has well and truly embraced her US popularity, with the video starting out in a distinctly American High School.

She's like a street wise Britney Spears.

We're not entirely sure what Cher's wearing here but she looks happy enought. [Copyright Epic Records]

The song also sees Cher Lloyd change up her style throughout with our personal favorite being the fringed hot pants and glittery top ensemble.

Not because it's particularly stylish but because Cher somehow manages to pull off an outfit that looks like it's been put together by someone with a glue gun and a box of mismatched fabric.

The song itself is a mid tempo number very much in the same vein as 'Wit Ur Love'.

Although we can't help but notice that Cher's vocals are far less British than they used to be.

We just hope she doesn't do a Joss Stone on us..

Cher Lloyd is currently riding on the success of her single 'Want U Back' which went platinum in the US earlier this year.
