Cher Lloyd - Cher Lloyd Announces Uk Tour, 'can't Wait' To Perform

Cher Lloyd has announced a 12 date UK tour following the success of her debut album Sticks and Stones and No.1 single Swagger Jagger. The 18-year-old begins the jaunt in Folkestone, Kent, on 29 March 2011 before heading to Leeds, Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham and London and Nottingham.

The singer finished fourth on last year's Uk X Factor, behind Rebecca Ferguson, boy band One Direction and winner Matt Cardle, all of whom have also enjoyed success since. Cher's video for 'Swagger Jagger' has been watched 18 million times on YouTube, quickly becoming one of the most talked about tracks of the year. Announcing the tour to followers on Twitter, Lloyd said, "I'm going on tour next March\April are you excited", before adding, "I can't wait to get on that stage and perform for all of ya, never thought I'd ever be having my own tour!!". News of the tour comes after the Daily Mirror reported Cher will be managed by ex-Bros bassist Craig Logan -now behind Logan Media Entertainment. The 42-year-old is credited as the man who helped Pink achieve pop stardom, while also working with Tina Turner, Joe Cocker and Sade.

Despite being predicted to debut at No.1, Lloyd's second single 'With Ur Love' entered the UK Singles Chart at No. 4, with first week sales of 74,030.
