Cher Lloyd: 'New album Sticks + Stones doesn't need will.i.am song'

Cher Lloyd has insisted that her new album is not missing a "spark", despite not featuring a song she recorded with will.i.am.

Lloyd recorded a collaboration with the Black Eyed Peas star following their duet on the final of The X Factor last year.

However, the song does not feature on the final tracklist for Lloyd's debut LP Sticks + Stones after is was alleged that the producer withdrew it when Simon Cowell fired Cheryl Cole from The X Factor USA in May.

Asked where the track had disappeared to, Lloyd told Digital Spy: "You know as much as I know. But the album isn't missing a spark without it."

Describing her ten-track debut, Lloyd continued: "It's like a jukebox. Everything is very different.

"Me and my team created this album for one purpose and that is for people to be able to listen to the whole thing without skipping a track.

"I've done it myself with albums in the past - there has only been one song I've enjoyed on an album I've been listening to. With mine, my aim was to make every song as strong as the one before it."

Cher Lloyd's first studio album Sticks! + Stone s is available to buy now.
